ALK Technologies today announced that the CoPilot Live satellite navigation system has been approved for sale via the iPhone App Store and is now available in UK for Apple iPhone 3G and 3Gs for a one-off payment of £25.99 ($43) for UK/Ireland or £59.99 ($100) for European maps. The CoPilot Live provides full featured turn-by-turn navigation to iPhones with automatic route calculation by post-code or street, 3D map displays in portrait or landscape mode and turn-by-turn voice directions.

Casio will release two photo printers on September 11th, 2009. Known as the PCP-1300 and PCP-300, the former features a 7-inch LCD touchscreen display with 480 x 234 resolution and is compatible with most of the memory cards and picture cards. Meanwhile, the latter has a 3.5-inch display with 240 x 320 resolution. Both printers feature a QWERTY keyboard. The Casio PCP-1300 and PCP-300 retails for $577 and $420, respectively.

Available in either black or white, this portable device provides a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 400:1 contrast ratio, 220 cd/m2 brightness and supports sMpeg 1/2 videos as well as MP3 audio files. In addition, it also comes with an SD/SDHC memory card slot and a USB port. Sadly, there’s no word on pricing and availability yet.
Philips will release the K700 and the X501 in the near future. The Xenium K700 features a full touchscreen display, a 3.2-megapixel camera, and probably a long lasting battery as with other Xenium handsets. Unfortunately, there is no further info about the X501, but we can see that it has a 2MP digital camera. No word yet on when or where the Philips K700 and X501 will be available.

Scosche Industries has recently unveiled its IDR350M (Increased Dynamic Range) noise isolating earphones that have an integrated remote and microphone control called tapLINE allowing users to navigate their music library, adjust the volume, record voice memos or talk on their iPhone. These earphones are also compatible with the iPod Shuffle 3G and iPhone 3G S by offering special features such as VoiceOver or Voice Control.
