
HiPhone of China has released the so called HiPhone Nano, a clamshell phone that features a dedicated media key reminiscent of the iPod clickwheel and a monochrome screen that shows the time. On the inside of this phone, you’ll find a 2.4-inch touchscreen display along with a numeric keypad. Other interesting features include a 1.3MP camera, dual SIM slot, 256MB TF card, microSD card slot, MP3/MP4 player, video/sound recorder, e-book reader, GPRS and Bluetooth connectivity. The phone comes in red, gold and silver for $124.99 (unlocked).

Packard Bell has announced its new EasyNote Butterfly notebook for the European market. This notebook is equipped with a 13.4-inch LED-backlit display, an Intel Ultra Low Voltage processor, an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 graphics, a multitouch trackpad, Dolby Sound system, HD webcam, HDMI connector, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. Other optional features include 3G and a choice between a standard hard drive or a solid-state drive. Pricing and release dates are still unknown.

Microsoft is out with its latest SideWinder mouse ‘X3?, which is specially geared toward the entry-level gaming crowd. This new device features a 2,000 DPI laser sensor that can be changed to 800 DPI or 400 DPI for subtler movements, a textured scroll wheel and an additional eight buttons crammed into the ambidextrous layout. This USB-powered mouse also comes with Intellimouse software for Windows PCs to program buttons and create macros. The SideWinder X3 will be available this May for $40.

Newsmy is set to launch its latest portable media player known as the HD7. This new PMP boasts a 5-inch LCD display with 800 x 480 resolution and supports H.264 and 720p HD video. The device is also compatible with RM, RMVB, AVI, FLV, MPG, DAT, 3GP, MP4 video files and MP3, ASF, MKV audio files. Sadly, there’s no word on pricing and release dates yet.

Chinese manufacturer QiGi has rolled out a super armored smartphone known as the AK007. This ruggedized handset is built for operating in generally extreme conditions. As for the specs itself, it sports a 2.8-inch QVGA display, 2MP camera, 624MHz core processor, 256MB ROM, 128MB of RAM, Windows Mobile 6.1 OS, GPS, 200 mAH battery and comes in two variants supporting CDMA and GSM networks. Unfortunately, pricing and release dates are still unknown.

XCM has rolled out a new Rumble Joystick for PlayStation 3, which is claimed to be the world’s first PS3 joystick to rumble natively. It features four memory buttons for programming all your macros as well as independent Rapid Fire and Turbo buttons. It also got the new XO Adapter for PS3, which adds support for macros, Rapid Fire and Turbo to any vanilla Dual Shock or SIXAXIS controller. No word on pricing yet, but they’ll be shipping in under a month.

Rock Band Unplugged is coming to PSPs this summer. The game will be released on June 9 in both North America and Europe for $39.99. There is also a limited edition PSP bundle that consists of the Rock Band Unplugged branded PSP game, a voucher to download Paramount Pictures’ School of Rock from the PlayStation Store, and a 4GB Memory Stick PRO Duo. The bundle is priced at $199.99.

LG today announced the availability of the UP3 Neon in South Korea. This player is currently available in 2GB and 4GB storage space. The gadget supports MP3, WMA and WAV file formats and FM Radio. The 2GB and 4GB models are priced at Won 55,000($40) and Won 69,000($51), respectively.
